3 day / 2 night Guided Tour – Cape Tribulation and the Atherton Tablelands
Day 1 – Cairns – Cape Tribulation (L)
Depart Cairns
Port Douglas… Here we’ll stop for a walk and swim at the famous 4 mile beach
Crocs… next you’ll go looking for the famous and scary saltwater crocodiles in the wild!
Then we cross over the Daintree river on the ferry and drive through the oldest rainforests in the world while looking for Cassowaries along the way.
Emmagen Creek swim and Rainforest Walk … enjoy an informative rainforest walk and swim in a freshwater tropical stream!!! A Rainforest Night Walk : The rainforest comes alive at night!
Overnight – Cape Tribulation Beach House
Day 2 – Cape Tribulation – Atherton Tablelands (B,D)
Breakfast
Free time to enjoy the beautiful beaches or join an optional activity like Jungle Surfing or Horseback riding
Late morning you will journey from Ancient Rainforests through savannah country to visit Granite Gorge, where you will hand feed a colony of wild rock wallabies and walk around the wondrous rock landscapes and boulders on the edge of the Outback
Indigenous Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony –Interact and learn from a local Indigenous group and partake in a traditional smoking ceremony
Platypus spotting… go looking for this very cute Australian creature. Dinner
Overnight – On the Wallaby Eco Lodge – Yungaburra
Day 3 – Atherton Tablelands – Cairns (B)

A value packed day exploring Highland Rainforest, Giant Fig Trees, Volcanic Crater Lakes and swimming at spectacular Waterfalls of the cool Tropical Tablelands. Be on alert to spot the unique wildlife that inhabit this region!
